The wounding is so sacred, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. The relationship/commitment issue or current lack thereof, has taught me how to show up for myself in ways I had no idea I was capable of. However I have also become extremely comfortable in my solitude. What is it that we are afraid of? How can it be integrated and transformed instead of rejected? What parts of ourselves are being rejected?
Hi Boyd. Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to receive these glimpses of your wilderness journey.
Today’s post struck me to the core as you spoke of using movement to avoid deeper relationships. I moved last week into an apartment in Scottsdale. A visual and artistic oasis in the desert that is the greater Phoenix area. It is my fourth move in 2 years. It took until now, to be in integrity and at peace with this leg of my life journey. I am not lonely in quarantine, yet often speak with no one in person. Most days I do connect with one or two people by phone or Skype. It is certainly not your wilderness, but my own version of a wild new world.
When we emerge from this time of solitude, I will be grateful to have a deeper appreciation for my closest confidant, me. Only then, will I be ready to love completely and share myself fully with another human walking their own path.
Peace, be still,
Tish Dragonette
